  2. I have been googling the heck outta “Pregnancy” PLUS “Cervix” etc, etc!! and I am THRILLED to see you have added it here!!! Although I know all women are different, I have also given birth to 3 children so I feel that this would be a similar reflection of what mine would be like with another pregnancy.

  3. I am THRILLED you have added a pregnancy cervix!!!!!!

I have 2 sons(4 & 2) noticed my cervix itself is still open. As all Women varies by cycle & races this is still GREAT INFORMATION!!!!

  4. wow what a good idea.very well put together.it would help to also know what a woman’s cervix would feel like to her own touch, when she ovulate is it high or low, when your pregant, what does your cervix feel like on the tips of your finger/?like the tip of your nose,or a peeled peach?thanks!

  5. #7 i found this for you:
During pregnancy, secretions will accumulate and form a mucus plug at the opening of your cervix. The mucus plug helps to prevent infection from occuring in your uterus and developing baby. The mucus plug will remain at the top of the cervix until just before labor begins.

  6. WHY DOSENT ANYBODY ASK THESE QUESTIONS AND DEMAND THIS INFORMATION FROM THE GYNECOLOGISTS?

MY MALE GYNO DENIED THAT I HAVE A G-SPOT AND DID NOT CARE ABOUT INFORMING ME ABOUT MY SEXUAL HEALTH, HE PRESCRIBED ME PROZAC AND FAILED TO INFORM ME OF ITS NEGATIVE SIDE-EFFECTS.
I WAS IMPEDED FROM ACHIEVING AN ORGASM FOR APPROX. 13 YEARS OF MY SEXUAL LIFE!

NOW I AM FIGHTING BACK, AND SOMEBODY NEEDS TO FORCE MANDATORY CONTINUING EDUCATION FOR GYNOS BECAUSE ALL WOMEN HAVE A G-SPOT AND IT IS THE GREATEST DISSERVICE AND MUST BE HELD MEDICALLY LIABLE FOR INFORMING THEIR FEMALE PATIENTS!

  7. Hi, I am currently TTC, and I was wondering if you would be able to get more photo’s of during the conception/pregnancy process starting from the start of the cycle too the end of a successful pregnancy? It would help a lot of people I know who are also TTC.

By the way, this site is amazing! I never know until someone recommended it to me that there was something like this out there.

    Keep up the amazing work!

  9. I find your site very interesting. here is my story. I have unprotected sex for 2 months now and have hot flashes for 2 months with interval of 2 weeks, late period last months of 8 days and late again this month of 4 days, still feel hot flashes. Last month I was very sensetive to smell. Trying to get pregnant, my basal temperature is 99.6 but under arm is 97.2. Is something wrong with me?

    [Reply]

    sookie Reply:

Lol, no silly! There’s nothing wrong with you! Even though I’m not TTC (I’m not sure if I can anyway), I take my BBT to keep track of my ovulation too. Plus, it’s intriguing to know. Anyway, I learned that different areas on your body = different temperatures. If you take it vaginally, I bet its temperature will be different from both your mouth and under arm. The trick is to pick a CERTAIN SPOT & STICK WITH IT! If you want accurate results, STAY CONSISTENT! :-)

Oh, & if you already know by now, then that’s good, but someone else might NOT know. & GOOD LUCK TTC!

    [Reply]

    sookie Reply:

& you sound like you had a fever or something, but I could be wrong because I, also, read somewhere that hot flashes, sensitivity to smell, etc is some of the early signs of pregnancy. Were you pregnant? I hope so!

You may have been getting hot flashes during ovulation. Personally I feel a bit hot when i ovulate keep charting and keep trying good luck.

  12. Wow… looking at these pictures, I’m kind of spinning out, as today when I took a photo of my own cervix for the first time, I found that mine looks almost exactly like hers! Which in itself confuses me, as I had menses 3.5 weeks ago!

    [Reply]

  13. Vika,
I notice that your post is dated, and you may have figured this out by now that your temp under your arm always registers about 2 degrees lower than oral temp. Just as a rectal temp registers about 2 degrees higher than oral. So if you take your temp under your arm again just add 2 degrees and that is your temp.

    These pics are amazing!

  19. I have been looking for a long time for this kind of thing. It’s awesome that you have done this! I’ve recently decided that I would like to start monitoring my cervix to check if I’m pregnant since I’m still breastfeeding my first and don’t have my period yet. Thanks again!

  20. omg!!! so thats wht that little tube inside me is ??? mine has a little bump on it ikd if it normal :(

    [Reply]

    Kim Reply:

It is probably normal. I have them too. Specially around my period. If your gyno has never mentioned them to you, then they are nothing. I had them for years before I got up the courage to ask my doc.. she then looked at me like she didn’t even believe I knew where my cervix was, then asked me how I knew I had the bumps! It was described to me as little cysts, or pimple like bumps.

  22. My guess is a foreign object such as a camera could introduce infection to a dilating cervix, especially after the waters have broken and probably wouldn’t be feasible however it would be fascinating to see a dilating cervix at each cm stage. This site is fascinating, especially having a small baby and remembering all the technical side of TTC, it suddenly makes so much more sense.

  25. So refreshing to see this kind of site. I was wondering if so early in pregnancy if it is normal to have lots of cervical mucous…mine has increased dramatically since suspected ovulation is not dry as usually is after and before AF. I hope I get good news within 2 weeks at the doctors office (ttc #2). btw, my os is a slit too but right now it feels really closed and “plugged” at least thats what I hope it is.

  36. Hi
Thanks so much for inspiring me. I’m 47 and ttc for the first time. I’ve just taken my first photo using instructions from this site (and without help!) The quality of the image is good enough to reassure me that at 8 days past ovulation my cervix looks totally normal, with a bit of creamy discharge. I’m intending to keep taking photos for my own records (have belatedly and just before it’s game over become totally excited about fertility)and if I become pregnant am considering offering images to this site to give older women ttc inspiriation and courage.

  37. I’m ttc using soy, I did cd 5-9 and normally have a 36 day cycle. Although my cycle is long its been a normal 36 day cycle from the start of my periods. I have a 2 yr old so I know I have the ability to get pregnant in fact very fertile I just miscarried 5 months ago, and twice before my son was born. However my period is a week and a half early, (I don’t know if the soy had something to do with it) my cervix is still soft and high and open???? I need some answers please!

    [Reply]

Soy has a very high level of estrogen and can cause fluctuations and disturbances in your hormone levels thus affecting your cycle

Being older than you guys, I can say that the whole of our genitalia had been shrouded in secrecy and shame. I am so proud that this new generation is revealing the beauty of their bodies in such a respectful and informative way. Yea! we are evolving!
